Canada’s Parliament Buildings are located in Ottawa,
Ontario. The structure houses the House of Commons and the Senate. Ottawa was
chosen by Queen Victoria to be the capital of Canada in 1857. After the
Confederation in 1867, the parliament building was officially open.
