Conditions in which it will lead to chemical weathering are
the following;

Oxidation – formation of oxides when a rock
reacts with elements oxygen and water changing into different color.

Dissolving in acid – carbonic acid is formed
when carbon dioxide is dissolve n water, creating karst topography in creating
sink holes and caves.

Hydrolysis – chemical weathering which is caused
with the element water, it turns clay minerals.

Water absorption – rocks are put into stress
making them vulnerable and expand.

Hydration – removal of water in the rocks.
