Respuesta :
Mining can influence the local communities both positively and negatively. The positive influences like generating employment and community development projects are essential for the native people, however, only two positives do not cover up the potential negatives of mining.
Some of the negative impacts of mining on the local communities are:
1. Obstructing them from using clean water and land.
2. Forcing them from their homes and land.
3. Modifying the social dynamics of a community.
4. Exhibiting influences on their health and livelihoods.
5. Exposing them to harassment by the government or mine personnel.
Mining can create employment, generate revenues, and speed up infrastructural developments in local communities. On the other hand, it can degrade and pollute soil, water, and poison the general plant and animals in the ecosystem.
