The Woman Accuser, being told that she did not sink, would be duck’d a second Time; when she swam again as light as before.

Upon which she declared, That she believed the Accused had bewitched her to make her so light, and that she would be duck’d again a Hundred Times, but she would duck the Devil out of her.

Which phrase from the excerpt most clearly makes the witch trial seem ridiculous?

It would be B "she would duck the devil out of her."

The answer would be "... she would duck the Devil out of her.", this phrase makes the witch trial seem ridiculous because of the Accusers firm belief that she could "duck" the supposed "bewitchment" and therefore be free of the "Devil" that so "obviously" possessed her and caused her to float, its obvious that the Accuser has no ability to think rationally and is most likely close minded.
