The ultimatum game is a game in economic experiments. The first player (or known as the proposer) conditionally receives a sum of money and propose how to divide the sum between proposer the other player. The second player (known as the responder) chooses to either accept or deny the proposer. Researchers found that at least 16% of offers were rejected, and there is much research on the subject that I cannot even begin to start telling you.
