When your stomach is empty, the wall of stomach starts contracting and then it starts stimulating nerve endings present in the wall of stomach.These nerve ending sends signal to the brain that the body needs nutrition.Then the body intakes food and once the stomach is full there is no stimulation of nerve and no signal to brain.The urge to take food stops until the stomach is hungry again.
