a chemical equation is your answer. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Answer:
a chemical equation
Explanation:
Chemical equation is a representation of chemical reaction in terms of chemical formulas and symbols . The chemical equation has two sides namely the Reactant and the Product . The reactant is the substance combined or reacted to form another. The product is the result or substance gotten after the reaction between the reactant.
A chemical equation must be balanced . The number of atom on both sides (reactant and product) must be the same. Sub-scripted numbers are use to represent the number of actual atom present in the substance. Example H2O . The bold value, 2 is a sub-scripted number and it indicate that hydrogen has two atom in the chemical formula.
Example of chemical equations includes
2Mg + 02 → 2MgO
2H2 + O2 → 2H2O
Hcl + NaOH → Nacl + H2O
Notice the number in front of the chemical formula of the substance, it is used to balance the number of atom on both sides of the equation. The number is called coefficients.
