genetic diversity

Wild plants are useful in agriculture because they give "safety" to the crop. Most of the crops have plants that are very identical, and when an adversity comes, like a pest or bad weather, to which the crop is susceptible, most of the crop is extinguished because they were all very similar and therefore, all vulnerable. When wild plants are present, they offer a wider genetic diversity that will turn the crop into a more resistant crop.
The answr is B :)

Hope this could help!
