The best way to communicate, I personally think it would be both because sometimes using literal language can make a person feel as if your emotions are disconnected. We each have a part to take place in our community and the world. Which means we must learn to speak and express our emotions. Everyone no matter size, race, or religion will learn one day to express themselves.
The use of literal language can be great sometimes, but would you speak to a friend like that? I know I wouldn’t. It would mean no jokes and no fun. This is why I think it is great that each of us have our own way of speaking. And we need this way because we are ourselves no matter how much you drill into our heads and say “Were all the same” we are not I promise you this. We are the next generation the one that will help this world and change our language.
So when we mix the two together we get our language today. We don’t live in the 18th century today our language is ever changing we need to act like it no matter how old. If you look in a newspaper even they have embraced using both online articles too. Look around you we combine the two everywhere but not many people will want to notice it, because they are the people in the past. So how do we fix this? We don’t we accept who we are, how we talk and write and move on. Now yes this seems odd coming from someone of my age, now yes I’m no Albert Einstein but I think I know what I’m talking about.
Sometimes it can be great to use literal language like at a job interview. You wouldn't want to go to one telling jokes and speaking in metaphors. Which means it just is about the situation we are in. At a party or hanging out with friends its great to use figurative language. Not many people will agree with this especially older people who were taught how to speak 50 years ago, but that doesn't mean we have to embrace it. We are ever changing so I think that we need room to grow, as I’ve said before we can’t be dragged into the past, if you do our generation will get worse.
I know this is not how we are taught to speak in grade school or anywhere else, but the way we do things are changing. We can't be stuck in the past anymore if we want to do great things. We are the generation that will change the world so please let us act like it, because we can’t be dragged into the past. We are special in our own way everyone is taught this but they don’t believe it, but if you look at the way this is written against all the others you can see one thing different we each talk different. Which means we are different, so please don’t treat us the same.
