The gap between the neuron is called a synapse. It helps in sending signals from one neuron to another which helps to do the action.
The synapse is made between the following:-
- Axon ending of one neuron
- Dendrite to the other neuron
Neurons send the signal in the form of electrical impulse, but at the neuron ending the neurotransmitter is released from the synaptic vesicle and releases the chemicals.
These neurotransmitter converts the electrical signal to the chemical signal so that other neuron can receive the signals.
