a population of grey foxes live in a forest ecosystem. these foxes pret mostly in large population of mice . if a fatal disease infects the mouse population, what would most likely happen to the fox population through time

Respuesta :

The fox population would most likely decrease over time. The fox's population would go way down if they ate dead mouse consumed by the infection and caught the infection themselves.

I hope this helped you!

Brainliest answer is always appreciated!
If the population of mice were to decrease the foxes will most likely starve more than usually due to the lack of amount of food they usually eat, due to mice dying sometime from disease. They also may have been infected by diseases transmitted by eating the mice might kill the foxes as well. Plus dramaticaly lowering the fox population.
