Help me please I feel so stupid

Charissa bought 1.5 lb of ground beef from Key Food. She paid a total of $6.75 for the ground beef. What was the price per pound?

to find the price per pound divide $6.75 by 1.5
the price per pound would be $4.50

Don't feel stupid. We all must start somewhere. 

If Charissa bought one and a half pounds of ground beef for $6.75, then you divide the total price by the number of pounds of beef bought. 6.75/1.4=4.82.
