Answer:

1st test = x 
2nd test = x + 7
3rd test = x + 7 +56
Average = 133
Total = 133 x 3
         = 399
x + x + 7 + x + 7 + 56 = 399
3x + 7 + 7 + 56 = 399
3x = 399 - 56 - 7 - 7 
3x = 329
x = 329 / 3
   = 109.666666
   = 110
Thus, on the first exam he scored 110 points
