The 18 powers of Congress are known as D. enumerated powers.
The Enumerated powers, also called Expressed powers, refers to the powers granted to Congress (The legislative branch) that are listed in Article I, Section 8 of the United States Constitution.
Some of them include the power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States, to borrow money, to regulate international and inter-state commerce, to coin money, to establish post offices and post roads, to provide and maintain a navy and to make rules.
