what can you infer about ida from the following lines "poor fish"?

Ida, in her usual way, nestled up close behind me and answered in a tone of admiration: "it's all a matter of practice...if you practiced, you could do it too."

A ida frequently encourages the narrator of the story.
B ida is unsure whether the narrator of the story could ever be a trapeze artist.
C Ida is critical of the narrator's shortcomings.
D Ida can see the humor in any situation.

Respuesta :

A. Ida frequently encourages the narrator of the story.

My reasoning for believing this is because in the sentence given, Ida is there, by the narrator's side the whole time being kind and trying to keep the narrator brave and strong.
