Actually life is always bigger than any profession, so personal obligations should taken care first with precedence over the professional obligations, the main reason being when a person suffers in personal problems, its difficult to come back or overcome or correct it, in future at a later stage in future, as the damage will be big both on mind,and life, but profession can be changed incase of any major problems, without much complication into another profession.
