[tex]-1[/tex];; if [tex]h=-4[/tex], the value should replace the [tex]h[/tex] in the numerator of the expression, resulting in [tex] \frac{-(-4)}{-4} [/tex]. A negative times a negative equals a positive (same signs always result in a positive, and likewise, different signs result in a negative) so-- [tex] \frac{4}{-4} [/tex], and [tex]4[/tex] ÷ [tex](-4)=-1[/tex].
