Option two would be the correct answer. The first thing that you would do it rule out answers. We can see that the two points are -4 and 3, that would rule out none of the options. We can then look at the way that the arrows are going and the equalities sign. A trick I use is that if the equation is set up in the x< number format, you know that if the sign points right, > that is the way the ray will go. Almost like following an arrow, and if the sign points left, < that is the way the ray will go. Just looking at the first equation with the -4, the arrow is going left, and so the inequality should be going left, that rules out nothing. But looking at the second ineqality, the inequality should be going right. This rules out options 3 and 4. The last step is to look whether or not it should be greater than or equals to. This is why it is option 2 that is the answer.
