How might current written and oral pieces that we produce every day (blogs, text messages, social network posts, videos, television shows, etc.) be considered piece of folklore?

Folklore can be described as the dissemination of any type of information through oral communication or through leading by example. This information will represent the collective ideas of a certain group of people and can be transmitted through mediums such as literature or knowledge. Nowadays the world has morphed into a technologically advanced sphere where all information can be acquired at the touch of a button. This however doesn't change the definition of folklore, it only changes the medium through which we share the information.
