How would you know if a piece of art was a hoax or not? There are several websites dedicated to the field of discovering whether something is true art or not. Do you feel that art is more valuable because of who painted it? If something is such a good replica that it requires chemicals or experts to tell if it is different, is it worth less? What makes original art valuable? Write 100-200 words about your opinion on this.

Art is very valuable because most art is from a long time ago. The painter must be very important. The painter has probably died or is very old. If the painting was fake there would be a few hints. Each painter has a different way or painting or a different streak. Art is very important, not just because of the painter, but how long its been around. If the art is a replica, then it isn't valuable. Replicas aren't valuable because they aren't the same. HOPE THIS HELPS:)

I do think that an original painting, painted by the actual artist is more valuable. I think this because,let's say you had one of Van Gogh's original paintings, this painting would have been done a long time ago and that makes it valuable. I also think that if it was painted by the original artist, they are one that took much time to do that painting and they are the one that came up with the idea to paint whatever they painted. It's not like a copy that you can print out in no time at all. It is a painting that someone took time on.
