Hello there!
If the area would be 36, then we do 6[tex]*[/tex]6, and from this, it would obviously give us 36. We do (6) square units going up, and when we do this, the area would be 36. (see attachment below).
(point E would be plotted (2,4)) which would be noticed on the graph below this answer.
