Respuesta :

Carnivores (only eat meat) eat herbivores (only eat plants) to survive, Herbivores eat plant to survive. So with out the main plant species to eat eventually herbivores will run out of food and die, when that happen the Carnivores will run out of food and die. Us humans are both herbivores and carnivores so if this were to happen the ending result would be extinction for all life forms Plants, Animals and Humans.

If the main plant species in a community were to disappear, it may affect the carnivores by lacking the number of herbivores in that community.

What do you mean by Community?

A Community may be defined as a group of individuals belonging to different species living in the same area at a given time.

All the trophic level of an ecosystem depends majorly on plants because they are the producers which produce energy in the presence of sunlight. This energy gets transferred into the herbivores by eating plant products, then the energy of herbivores flows into the carnivores. If the plant is not there, no production of energy, and the trophic level destabilizes.

Therefore, if the main plant species in a community were to disappear, it may affect the carnivores by lacking the number of herbivores in that community.
