A recipe requires 1/4lb of onions to make 3 servings of soup. Mark has 1 and 1/2lb of onions. How many servings can Mark make?

The answer is 18

Think of the 1/4 and 1 1/2 as money in quarters to make it easier...
- 25 cents makes three servings
- But you have $1.50
- $1.50 is a total of 6 quarters
- So, multiply 6 by 3 6*3=18 servings
