In general terms, and under normal circumstances, the premise that generally, as education level increases, so does income, is true, but it has to be taken into account that there are exceptions to that rule, if some examples are studied.
Generally speaking, yes; as a person gains better education levels, his/her labor aspirations can grow as well, as the better prepared people can opt for high-paying and high-skilled jobs. This means that the higher in the job market a person gets, the more income he/she will obtain. But these higher-paying jobs also require people to be better prepared and are highly competed for as people educate themselves more and more.
