How did debates over alcohol use, the teaching of evolution, immigration, anti-Semitism, and racism evolve in the 1920s?

Respuesta :

In the 19290s :1. Alcohol use - I was unpatriotic to drink beer because of the influence of Pabst and Anheuser-Busch.2. The teaching of evolution - John Scopes trial —  he taught the Theory of Evolution, which at that time was biblically a crime so he was arrested; American Civil Liberties Union protected the free speech rights and denounced Tennessee’s Law’s constitutionality for considering evolution illegal. 3. Immigration, anti-semitism, and racism - Protestants find immigrations as the main cause of moral decline; Catholics in Jews were not accepted in America.
