Today our culture stands still at a cross roads of the blame game, both whites and blacks are blaming each other for things and throwing names around. We are dealing with violence and out lashes by the black community because of the precised punishment we deserve for what whites did to African american slaves, and we are dealing with defensive attacks from the white community trying to up hold their dignity and say that what they did was in the past and that we should all look to the future. Of course we are and should be responsalbe for blacks and whites...this is AMERICA and we allow and have a dutie to up hold our protection of all races. However if issues of race do get out of hand, punishments should be carried out and not be viewd as racist.
