At first Arturo does not want to go because he rather study then visit his grandpa in the dreadful old's folk home. When he first arrives he keeps checking his watch eager to leave. After Arturo listen's to his grandpa's life story he does not want to leave because he wants to learn more about his grandpa.

In this story, from the beginning, Arturo didn't want to visit his grandfather because he believed that it was better for him to study. When he arrived, he was eager to learn but this changed later as he wanted to learn more from his grandfather after hearing his story.
