Then SO2 is again mixed with oxygen in the presence of catalyst vanadium. It forms sulfur trioxide ( SO3). The sulfur trioxide is allowed to absorbed in water. The mixing of SO3 and H2O forms the sulfuric acid ( H2SO4).
It is highly concentrated and its dilution is decreased to some extent for selling.
