Sex is not genetically determined in all organisms. Do you agree? Why?

Respuesta :

Yes, because if an organism reproduces asexually,  there is no presence of a 'father' organism. This mean that there is no need for an X or Y chromosome to be given by the father. Since the chromosome given by the father determines the sex of the offspring, if the organism reproduces asexually, there is no determined sex.

A sex-determination system is a biological system that determines the development of sexual ... In many species, sex determination is genetic: males and females have different .... However, not all species depend upon the W for their sex.
