There are many ways you can interpret this, theoretically we all play a certain role in peoples lives but they also play a role for us, motivation comes in all kind of styles some are two way beneficial while some are one way, the way i motivate is I push other people up while pushing myself down. Your way of motivation wether it be towards yourself or somebody else may be different than some elses way of motivation, motivation will come to you no matter what you do you can't decide when or where but it will come, all you have to do is believe in yourself and be the best you can be.
