Religion is one component that exists within a larger culture. The term culture refers generally to a set of practices, beliefs and institutions that, collectively, describe a specific population. The components of culture are often passed down from generation to generation and can include not only religious practice, but also language, mythology, tradition, the arts and political institutions or practices. So, while religious practice may represent one aspect of a peoples culture, a larger assessment of the culture as a whole will include many other considerations. A definition of America's culture, for example, would require an analysis not only of the religions practiced in America, but also the music, television programs, movies, traditions, politicalbeliefs, economic philosophy, law and languages propagated by the American people.

Answer:

Religion and culture are connected in many ways. Culture is formed around our religious beliefs and how we see our world. Culture is a part of religion. The way we see death, morals, and society. Buddhism is a religion that shapes the culture, you have no possessions, no money, and no wants. That really impacts your culture. Every different religion affects the way we dress, eat, act. Not one religion is the same and they all affect us in different ways. The combination of these makes a lot of cultures and cultures are people who believe or act in the same way. Even some people from the same religious group have different cultures. Culture is different to every area and person.
