In a candy factory, the nutty chocolate bars contain 18.5 % by mass pecans. If 9.0 kg of pecans were used for candy last Tuesday, how many pounds of nutty chocolate bars were made?

For the answer to the question above,

Per chocolate bar... 18.5by mass pecans 

5kg pecans are 22.0% of all chocolate bars made.

Let x equal the chocolate used.

Therefore,

9.0 = .185(x)

x = 48.64 or 49 is the correct sig figs I believe.
