Sequences of numbers are found in real life all around us. choose something in the real world that can be described by a sequence of at least 8 numbers and research the values of the sequence. For example, you might choose to investigate:

The number of students enrolled at your school for each of the last 10 years
The price of a particular company’s stock over the last 8 days
Voter participation rates for the last 8 Presidential elections
The incidence of lung cancer or some other disease over a 10 year period
The population of your state or city over the last 10 years
The number of US military personnel deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan in each of the past 10 years
The number of animals rescued by a local shelter each month for the past year
...or any other topic that can be described by a discrete sequence.
