Answer: To appeal for workers' conditions and demand for reforms.
Bloody Sunday
Explanation: In the Russian Empire at the beginning of the 20th century there was great dissatisfaction among workers and peasants due to bad economic conditions and the need for reforms. Thus, due to growing dissatisfaction among workers, the government formed a trade union of workers in St Petersburg, and thus tried to suppress and overcome this discontent. This union will unconsciously become a trigger for the later Revolution. On January 22, thousands of workers led by Father Gapon marched peacefully in order to file a petition to Emperor, with their workers' demands, because they believed that Emperor did not know what their condition was, and they had no intention of overthrowing Emperor. However, these peaceful protests resulted in the brutal and bloody intervention of Russian soldiers, which is why this event is known as Bloody Sunday, which will later prove to be one of the main factors for the outbreak of the Russian Revolution.
