For Windows 8 or 10, just go to the Start Menu and type "ram", then press enter. Windows should show an option for "View RAM Info". Then just click on it.
For Windows Vista or 7, tight click the "My Computer" icon and select "Properties". The system will list "Installed memory (RAM)" and there, you'll see the amount of RAM you have.
